AS3 - Monitoring Guide

1. Define the decision and existing instruments.
Start with a specific question, such as consumption outside operating hours or reservoir behavior. Identify who will use the information. List meter models, interfaces and installation locations.

2. Add context and assign the response.
Record operating schedules, occupancy or production. Agree who reviews history, receives an alert and checks the point. A notification without an owner loses its usefulness.

3. Check what you learned.
After an action, compare equivalent conditions. Record the finding, the change and the next question. Start with a defined application rather than assuming every point needs monitoring at once.
